Ricciardo plans to race at U.S. Grand Prix 🤠

This past Friday, AlphaTauri driver Daniel Ricciardo announced that he will plan to drive in Austin at the U.S. Grand Prix.
Ricciardo has been out the last five races since the Dutch Grand Prix after experiencing a break in his hand during at practice crash.
AlphaTauri management had opted not to rush Ricciardo’s recovery. His return to F1 has allowed Liam Lawson to also return to driving for the Super Formula Champions.

With five races left in the season, below are the current podium finishes by driver this season:
Max Verstappen (Red Bull): 16
Sergio Perez (Red Bull): 8
Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin): 7
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes): 5
Lando Norris (McLaren): 5
Charles Leclerc (Ferrari): 3
Oscar Piastri (McLaren): 2
Carlos Sainz (Ferrari): 2
Esteban Ocon (Alpine): 1
George Russell (Mercedes): 1
Pierre Gasly (Alpine): 1
Rookie driver Oscar Piastri has driven well as of late placing top 3 in the past two races at the Japan & Qatar GP. We will see if in he can replicate his success and add to his two podium finishes so far this season.
AlphaTauri expected to announce new team name at the Amerian GP 📣
This upcoming weekend, Alpha Tauri plans to announce their new title sponsor for the 2024 season. Over the past few weeks, there has been speculation that the new title title sponsor will either be Adidas or Hugo Boss.
AlphaTauri Peter Bayer recently stated, “Discussions are going very well, unfortunately I cannot disclose yet what the name will be, the shareholders have decided on the identity of the team, we will move a bit closer to the Red Bull family.”
Pirelli plans to be F1 tire supplier until 2027 🛞

This past week Pirelli beat out Bridgestone to be the F1 tire supplier until the 2027 season.
Pirelli has been the F1 tire supplier since 2011 and their contract was set to expire at the end of the 2024 season.
After looking at both bids between Pirelli & Bridgestone, the FIA opted to stick with Pirelli up until the 2027 season. With an option for the 2028 season.
