Audi isn’t he only team pursuing Sainz as Red Bull has been in talks with Sainz as well. Nico Rosberg mentioned, "You know that they have an offer out to Carlos Sainz and I saw daddy Sainz speaking to Christian Horner yesterday because Christian Horner has apparently been a bit stingy on the offer”.

Helmut Marko mentioned that they can’t offer the same about of money as Audi as negotiations start to heat up as to where Sainz will drive in 2025.

Mercedes plans to make upgrades for the upcoming Miami GP 🛠️

This past weekend Mercedes failed to deliver results in pursuing podium finishes with a P6 from Russell and P9 from Hamilton.

Team boss Toto Wolff said: "I think the car is difficult car to set up and difficult to drive, and that is why you have these oscillations in performances in my opinion.

Mercedes plans to make a set of upgrades to the W15 car for the Miami GP. With the intention of reversing their downward trajectory. With Mercedes currently in 4th for the constructors championship, challenging Red Bull is currently out of reach.
