Name changes for Aston Martin & Alfa Romeo 📛

This past week we saw two teams announce that they will have name changes going into the 2024 season.

First being Aston Martin who will undergo a slight change to ‘Aston Martin Aramco F1 Team’. Due to it’s long-term title extension with Saudi Arabian energy giant Aramco.

Alfa Romeo will change its name for the next two years to ‘Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber’. I don’t know who thought of that name, but that might go down as the worst names in F1 history.

Ferrari unveil 2024 launch date 🏎️

Ferrari shared that it be revealing its 2024 F1 car on February 13 which is two weeks prior to the new season.

Team Principal Frederic Vasseur recently stated that ‘we are changing 95% of the components of the car’.

This past year was a difficult year for the Ferrari team placing third in the constructors championship and last time they won the drivers championship was in 2007.

Based on the data below, 70% of the drivers will have contracts that will expire in the upcoming 2024 year.
