FIA dropping investigation against Toto & Susie Wolff 🏛️

This past week the FIA dropped charges around a report in which there was speculations around Toto & Susie Wolff leaking confidential information from private meetings to the Formula One Group.
Toto Wolff recently stated, “Mercedes is currently in active legal exchange with the FIA” regarding the governing body’s controversial investigation into alleged conflict of interest.
Lewis Hamilton commented on the accusations saying that it was “disappointing” that the FIA sought to question the integrity of their leadership team at Mercedes.
Value of F1 teams 💰
Below are the value of F1 teams based on Forbes analysis:
Ferrari: $3.9 billion
Mercedes: $3.8 billion
Red Bull: $2.6 billion
McLaren: $2.2 billion
Alpine: $1.4 billion

In a recent interview, AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer stated that the team will be changing its driver philosophy in wanting more driver experience for its team.
Bayer stated, “We will not race with two juniors. We will always have one experienced driver who will take one young driver under his wing and help him to develop.”
Amidst this past year, AlphaTauri had 4 drivers race this past year (de Vries, Ricciardo, Lawson, Tsuonda). With Yuki Tsunoda being the only consistent driver and scoring the most team points this past season.
Potential for F1 Madrid race 🏎️

F1 plans in the upcoming weeks to announce a street circuit in Madrid for the 2026 F1 season.
The current proposal is to race in the Spanish capital from 2026 until 2035 with the course laid around the northeast side of the city which is close to the Madrid International airport.
There have been reports that F1 has registered the trademarks for the name “Formula 1 Madrid Grand Prix”.
Spain’s current grand prix is located in Barcelona and has a contract until 2026. Which if Madrid is approved by the FIA, it would host two races in Spain during the 2026 F1 season.
