Exit Clause in Verstappen contract 📝

In the midst of all the controversy surrounding Red Bull off the track these past few weeks, there has recently been noted that in Max Verstappen’s contact there is a exit clause allowing him to leave the team if he would like to.
Verstappen signed a contract going into 2028 with Red Bull. Yet there have been turmoil around if he will stay with the team due to off the track issues within the Red Bull team.
It has been rumored that if Verstappen was to leave, it would be for rivals teams Mercedes or Ferrari.
Ricciardo under scrutiny 🧐
Daniel Ricciardo has had a difficult start to the beginning of this F1 season. Placing 13th in Bahrain and 16th in Saudi Arabia.
Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko has made it clear that he wants more from Ricciardo. Especially with his home race coming up this weekend in Melbourne.
Former McLaren mechanic turned multi-faceted media personality Marc Priestley believes Ricciardo’s time is running out, and that 2024 could be the last-chance saloon for him.
There still is a lot more racing this season so we will see if Ricciardo can bounce back from a slow start to 2024.
Mercedes plans to experiment with their W15 car 🛠️

Over the past two races, the Mercedes car has issues with bouncing and being slower in the high-speed corners.
During its time at the Saudi Grand Prix, the Mercedes car was the second slowest in the high speed sections. Slower than Alpine and Williams.
Toto Wolff team president stated, “We’re missing downforce beyond the steps we would have with a bigger rear wing. We tried it on Lewis, some tests, which we don’t understand. We are quick everywhere else, pretty much.”
There is plans to make some experiments to the car and will see if there will be enough improvements to compete with Red Bull.
