Carlos Sainz wins Signapore Grand Prix

This past weekend we saw Red Bull’s perfect season come to an end with Carlos Sainz winning his first race this season. Max Verstappen’s winning streak has also ended dating back to the Miami Grand Prix. Below are results from the race:

  • Coming into the final lap, George Russell was in P3 position but ended up crashing in the barriers while following Lando Norris closely.

Zhou Guanyu resigns with AlfaRomeo

For his third F1 season, Zhou Guanyu will remain with Alfa Romeo after the team announced an unchanged 2024 lineup this past Thursday. There were talks in the recent weeks over extending his contract for a further year, leading to the announcement this past weekend prior to the Signapore Grand Prix.

Adidas named as new potential title sponsor for AlphaTauri

F1 Journalist Roger Benoit announced this past weekend that Adidas could be a potential title sponsor for AlphaTauri.

Adidas at the moment is currently competing with Hugo Boss to sponsor Red Bull’s sister team. In the upcoming months, we will see what AlphaTauri CEO Peter Bayer decides to go with for the new title.

AlphaTauri has confirmed that they will resign Yuki Tsunoda

Yesterday AlphaTauri has confirmed that they will resign Yuki Tsunoda for the 2024 season. The second driver hasn’t been confirmed yet but reports are saying that AlphaTauri is leaning towards resigning Daniel Ricciardo over Liam Lawson.

With Lawson placing P9 and scoring points this past weekend, he has raced extremely well since replacing Daniel Ricciardo. It will be interesting to see in the upcoming weeks which team he will sign with for the 2024 season.
