Apple is looking to bid for F1 streaming rights 📺

Apple is reportedly considering making a bid for $2 billion per year to become the main streaming provider for F1. The value of the Apple deal would be more than double what Formula 1 is making from its global TV rights.

Hypothetically if the deal ended up going through, Apple wouldn’t be able to secure the rights to broadcasting right away due to existing contracts with other broadcasters. An example being that in the USA, ESPN has rights to broadcasting until 2025.
